Hey! I'm Katie, but on the internet I'm mostly known as "Quill." In short, I'm a digital art and animation hobbyist currently studying wildlife biology in college. If you wish to find out more, feel free to use one of the buttons below to access a specific page with more detailed information.

I made this Carrd so people can get to know me a bit before following if they so wish. Fair warning: my Twitter account has no direction. It is my sole account at the moment and I rarely stick to one subject for that long. I'm currently working towards taking the classes required to become a certified Associate Wildlife Biologist™by the Wildlife Society. After undergrad I plan on going to graduate school for at least my Masters. I hope to pursue a career in wildlife management and conservation, as well as delve into science communication.

I've been involved in undergraduate research since second semester freshman year and have since worked on two main projects, both primarily using game cameras: (1) an ongoing study on local coyote and fox populations and (2) a summer grant project focusing on black bear use of highway underpasses.

Art & Animation

I'm a self-taught animator and digital artist, and have been since 2012. Since college started I've had less time to dedicate to animation but I still like to do it in my (limited) free time. I mostly animate MAP (multi-animator project) parts revolving around animal fantasy novels such as Warriors and Wings of Fire. You can find most of my animations on my YouTube channel linked on the home page.
